I am reassured once again.

I love you a little more today.
I appreciate you a little more today.
And I will just love and appreciate you more and more as days go by.

I love you a little more not because of the surprise you gave me today.
I love you a little more not because of the top you got me from Bershka.

But I love you a little more because of your sweet gesture that reminded me of how blessed I am.
I know how you hate the traffic.
I know how you hate to go to a destination with the purpose of just buying one thing because you sometimes think  that it is a waste of petrol.
I know how you hate crowd sometimes.
I know how you hate to waste money on girls sometimes.
And I know how tired you were today after your work and your gym.

But despite all that, you went to Mid Valley and got me a top that I really like but will never buy.
Just to make me happy. Just to see me happy.

I am very touched.
Not for the top but for your thoughts.

I am reassured once again.

4th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012

Last weekend was hectic for me. First it was FMFA 2012, then it was the 4th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012.
I’ve been wanting to go to this Hot Air Balloon Fiesta at Putrajaya for the longest time.
I missed out this event last year and I remembered myself telling Fatty that if we ever have the chance, he must bring me to Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in the future.

Not a chance that is easy to come by because he shouldn’t be by my side this moment.
But he is. :)

So I decided to bring along my little cousins but my uncle was so afraid that I might lost his kids, only one of them followed. :(
This is so unfair to the younger brother! :(
I’ll compensate and bring him out the next time. I don’t like being unfair to little kids!

Picked this boy up and off for lunch we went before heading to Putrajaya for Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012.

Meet this 6 years old boy named Hou Yin, my cousin that I love a lot. If you hear him talk, I bet you’ll love him too. :)
He actually kept mentioning in the car that we’re going to Jusco when I kept saying to him that we’re going for hot air balloons. He thought it’s gonna be boring, he’d rather want Jusco. Haha.

The boys that accompanied me that day.
I asked my cousin, ‘Is Ben gor gor fat?’.
And he answered, ‘Fat, who say not fat? Fat like a ball’.

Hahahahahha, this 6 years old cracked me up.

His favourite, and also Fatty’s favourite when he was young which is Ultraman. They sometimes watched Ultraman on Youtube together in my house, haha.

Look how happy he was on that day! :D

We walked around and stopped by at Mollydooker’s for coffee and homemade ice-cream.
It was real hot that day.

He always treat my cousin so well and he’s really good with kids! What a keeper, hahahahah!

Just the three of us spending our Sunday together. :)

He was enjoying his Horlick ice-cream until he saw …

… this clown from afar and he thought that the clown is some satan or devil or something and the faces that he showed me was priceless, hahaha. He was so afraid that he decided to stop eating his ice-cream and I had to tell him that it’s okay.
Kids are so naive and cute! :)

We continue walking around and saw a number of activites that we cant be bothered because of the scorching hot sun.

Water orb. Of course I’m not gonna put myself into that ball, moving around weirdly while everyone else is watching. Not to mention, it was tied with a string and you cant even go far.

Paid Rm5 for the boy to enjoy but he got bored after 3 rounds. That slide is not even slippery at all. :(

KMX kart that cost Rm10 for 10 minutes and the comment that Fatty gave me was that he felt like he just went for gym.
It was pretty tiring, especially when you have a 6 years old boy on your lap.

My cousin’s legs flew up and down when Fatty cycled and I cant help but laughed because this pair above is the only pair that is so out of control!
The person in charge who thought that I was my cousin’s mother told me to asked my ‘son’ to change his position.

Young parents, not.

Changed position but my boys were still out of control. Hahahah!

After the KMX ride, we were all tired including myself.
I didn’t know that the hot air balloons will only be up at 7.30am and 5.30pm or else we wouldn’t be there so early on that day.
We were too tired to wait for the hot air balloons so home we went.

I’m not entirely upset for not getting to watch those hot air balloons because I still had fun that day but of course I wish to catch a glimpse.
I have not in my entire life came across a hot air balloon before but that’s okay, Fatty said we’ll always have the chance in the future.
Maybe even taking a ride in one. :)

A funny kid that is so truthful to me, a person I love and a place full with activities. My perfect Sunday. :)

Future Music Festival Asia 2012 (FMFA) at Sepang

I love love love rave!
My last experience from Heineken Thirst 2010 was fuh-reakin awesome and I’ve been missing that feeling ever since.

Future Music Festival Asia it was on last Saturday at Sepang.
It was a rather last minute decision.

Since I’m the ‘small lady’ aka ‘siu nui yan’, most of the time I’ll let Fatty do the decision making unless I really want something real bad.
So this last minute decision to go for FMFA 2012 was made by him.

#Future Music Festival Asia 2012!

Our tickets to FMFA 2012 cost us Rm140 each. We could have cheaper tickets on hand if we bought it earlier but the indecisive Fatty just cant make up his mind till the very last minute.
I seriously feel stupid for paying more! Especially when we arrived kinda late!

Did I mentioned that the bff is back, yet again. Haha, for her visa this time.

The rave kakis! :)

Zoe and Gavin who was dead tired from his Penang trip.

:P

Look at that stupid light up car ring on our fingers. Fatty bought it so that we can synchronized with the rave, haha.

I don’t know why they’re wearing shirts in a rave. I don’t even dare to imagine!

There were four different music stages at FMFA 2012 named Future, Las Venus, Gnome, & Flamingo and it kept reminding me of Zouk for it’s four different rooms.
Cosmic Gate, Tinie Tempah and Bass Agent were the bomb but I wish we could be there earlier because I missed out Flo Rida!

Tired from jumping, shaking, screaming, and walking from one music stages to another.

One thing I like about FMFA 2012 is that they don’t only feed us with music. Out of the sudden, there’s fireworks right in front of us for us to enjoy. :)

Look at his face and you can tell that he fell in love with rave right there and then.

Ferris wheel! Yes, there was even a ferris wheel inside a rave and it’s free of charge! How nice :D

So we decided to hop on and go for a ride.

I don’t know why he’s looking so emo here hahahaha! Probably cause I disturbed him savoring his pizza. And look at that green car ring on his finger, hahahah.

I had quite a lot of fun at FMFA 2012 but I was a little worn out from working and trying to go for Matta Fair in the afternoon that day.
I am really looking forward to Zouk Sepang 2012 but I wonder if anyone above is interested especially the indecisive Fatty.

Rave, till then. :)

A little bit of Interior Design and Architecture for today.

I may know nothing about architecture as some said it when I commented on related stuff  but the statement itself is worth a debate because it make no sense to me.
Sometimes in life, you do not have to be a professional  in the field to know what is nice and what is not.
Sometimes in life, you do not have to be a professional in the field to know what functions well and what don’t.

We’re all intellectual humans that can think, analyse, differentiate and  make decisions.
We do not need to be a chef to know that our food taste good or the other way round right? :)

Sharing with you guys some of the architecture and interior design pictures that I really like which I got from Tumblr.
Sometimes through browsing or sometimes through searching designs to share with Fatty. :)

My favourite are the last three!
Freaking cool houses can!

*Imagining Fatty designing such houses for us to stay in the future hahahah*

I cant draw or design a house. I’m not an architect.
But I guess I still can appreciate other architects’ work, right? :)

Diary of a tamed shopaholic.

I often asked, ‘Why and how can things be THIS expensive!?’.
Feeling angry deep down. Angry at that stupid thing for being this expensive, angry at myself for not being good enough to have the ability to purchase it and also angry at whatever it is asking why is it so unfair.

(I often ask but I don’t often feel angry lah, just sometimes lah when I pms.)

Sometimes I’ll go, ‘diu nia sing ah. gam lan guai meh. gam lan mm gung ping geh. meh sei gai‘. HAHAHAHA!
Most of the time I do this in front of my bff.

Just like last night after my dinner with Fatty at Fahrenheit, we decided to take a stroll and window shop at Pavilion.

Zara’s window display attracted me into their shop, as usual.
I have always like their window display!
Their collection this season makes me cringe.
Because they’re too beautiful and I cant afford them!
I love what my eyes saw and I love their fabrics too.
But I no like their price tags. ):

I said to Fatty,  ’Hmph! You see what will happen if I have the ability to shop like I own Zara!’.
I almost ‘fat din‘ hahaha.

Also not to forget Aldo, one of my favourite shoe brand though I don’t own one yet.
Their heels are breathtaking.
I like going into Aldo and trying on their heels, and then leave just like that. HAHA!

Fact is, I can actually buy a pair of their heels but I just cant allow myself to do so when it’s gonna take a portion of my salary.
When that pair of heels can buy me a 3 days 2 nights trip to Pangkor or wherever.
Ngo zip sau mm dou lorh.

And then I told myself last night, one fine day I’m gonna fucking own one of those babies.
One fine day when it doesn’t hurt to get one.

I’ll be so proud to buy myself an Aldo!!

For now, I’ll wear my Rm60 heels that hurt my feet every single time.
But it’s okay, I tell myself.

I’m a tamed shopaholic.
But I wasn’t one long ago.

I have this habit in me which I named it as ‘just-buy-la-don’t-care’.
I’ll buy whatever I like even when I’m about to go broke and the consequences that it brought to me is indeed a good lesson.
So, I’m quite well-trained now I must say. Haha.

I determine my own shopping day.
Saw something I like. Not shopping day. Must not buy.
But one downside to this is that once my shopping day is here, sometimes I lost control due to controlling too much. Terpesong, terbabas. Suka hati lah.

My bff said something I did not realize, ‘At least you can afford everything you’re having now. You can afford your life. You come across us/them owning better things than you but in fact they themselves cannot afford buying it. They cannot afford the life they’re living, what they’re having now are all from their parents.

Poached Eggs in Tomato Sauce and Garlic Chicken with White Wine Sauce.

Just a quick post to share the recipes which I’ve mentioned earlier on.

Poached Eggs in Tomato Sauce from Martha Stewart.

Poached eggs in tomato sauce.

Poached eggs in tomato sauce.

Ingredients.

  • 1 can (28 ounces) whole plum tomatoes – I bought one can diced tomatoes.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes – Skipped this.
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices toasted country bread, for serving
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for serving – And this too because Fatty is on diet.

 Directions directly from Martha Stewart’swebsite.

1. Transfer tomatoes and their juices to the jar of a blender. Blend until tomatoes are coarsely chopped; set aside.
( I skipped this first step because I do not have a blender at home and I don’t mind eating chunkier tomatoes, so it’s entirely up to you on how you wanna cook your meal.)

2. In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and crushed red pepper; cook, stirring, until lightly browned, about 1 minute. Add tomato sauce and bring to a boil; season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.

3. Gently crack eggs into tomato mixture, cover, and let cook 5 minutes. Remove skillet from heat, uncover, and let stand 2 to 3 minutes.

4. Transfer each egg to a piece of toast. Spoon over sauce, garnish with cheese, and season with salt and pepper; serve immediately.

I cant seem to turn my eggs into poached eggs, as usual and I dislike this fact!
So I didn’t really take the effort to even poach it this time, I just want my lunch that’s all. Hah.

A very very simple dish that’s healthy, fuss free, and not to mention that it tasted good.
Try this if you’re planning to impress someone or if you’re mad hungry. You’ll prolly get the same satisfaction. :)

Garlic Chicken with White Wine Sauce.

Garlic chicken with white wine sauce.

Garlic chicken with white wine sauce.

Ingredients.

  • 1 4-pound whole chicken, cut into eight parts
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2-3 whole heads of garlic, cloves separated (40 cloves) but not peeled
  • Olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cup dry white wine, such as a Sauvignon Blanc
  • 3 large sprigs of fresh tarragon
  • 3 large sprigs of fresh thyme

Directions from Simply Recipes.

1. Lightly smash the garlic cloves with the side of a heavy chef’s knife, just enough to break the cloves. Leave peel on.

2. Trim the chicken pieces of excess fat. Pat them dry and sprinkle pieces generously with salt and pepper. Heat 3 Tbsp olive oil in a Dutch oven (or a large thick-bottom pan with a tight fitting cover) on medium high. Working in batches, brown the chicken pieces on all sides. Lay the chicken pieces on the hot oil, do not move until browned, then turn over to other side using tongs. Remove from pan when browned.

3. Add a little more olive oil to the pan if necessary. Add the garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 4 minutes. Add the wine and the herbs. Bring to a boil. Add the chicken pieces. Reduce the heat to medium low. Cover the pan and simmer until the chicken is cooked through. Move the chicken pieces from top to bottom every 5 minutes for about 20 minutes. Chicken is done when a meat thermometer inserted into thickest part reads 180°F for thighs and 170°F for breasts.

Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer chicken pieces to a platter; spoon garlic sauce over the chicken.

I tried this dish once in Melbourne and it somehow tasted different when I cooked this dish again that day.
It tasted better in Melbourne. :(

What was different in both the garlic chicken is that the first time I used dried mixed herbs and the second time I used fresh herbs that I bought from supermarket here.
And also I used different wine and it tasted a little too sweet this time.

Next time, I’m gonna stick to normal white wine.
If you love garlic, you’re gonna like this dish.

Do enjoy the cooking if you’re trying these dishes out and enjoy your Friday too. :)

To all the guys in the world…

Situation like such, I’ve seen and experienced many a time.
And I often questioned why.

I don’t wanna stereotype but just let me be for this time.
Boyfriend’s friend, girl friend’s boyfriend, guy friends, boyfriend, and ex boyfriend, sometimes they do really act the same.

Sometimes they don’t mean to do it. Sometimes their brain did not function on that particular day. Sometimes they say it’s just a guy thing.
Sometimes they say we girls take it too seriously. Sometimes to them we are insane.
Most of the time, they neglect our feelings.

Maybe guys are insensitive beasts. Maybe guys do not have as much empathy as girls. Maybe they think they’re too cool to even care.

Every human being including you, me, or Brad Pitt are not perfect.
Your girlfriend is not, neither are you.

I saw guy friends doing nasty things behind the girlfriend’s back.
I knew my girl friend’s boyfriend doing nasty things behind her back.
Then I experienced it myself, both ways during the past.

Every single time, I feel agitated. I hate this fact.

It wasn’t exactly that kind of cheat, sex and all.
To guys, it might not be something. In fact, to them it is always nothing.

Not sex but your girlfriend’s feeling should still be taken care of.
The girl you love most. And the girl who love you the most.

I hate my friend because he did not for a single second at that moment consider the feeling of my girl friend.
I was upset for I know that this will definitely hurt my friend a lot.

Guys, please.

Before you hug another girl at the dance floor, rubbing your stupid dick on another girl’s back could you please take a moment to consider your girlfriend’s feeling who actually trust and love you more than anyone else?

Before you pull a girl over so that she can sit on your lap at some dodgy bar, could you please spare a second to think of the person who love you the most?

You know what?
These pleasure to you guys that last for a few hours is a pain for your girlfriend that might last for years. Or maybe a lifetime.
Because they lost trust in you. In guys. And in love.

Before you decide to do something that is this stupid, please put yourself in her shoes and think.
How would you feel if your girlfriend is the one who hugs and dances with a guy, rubbing her boobs on the guy’s chest.
How would you feel if your girlfriend is the one who sits on some other guy’s lap at some dodgy bar?

You think you’ll like it? Fancy that feeling?

Most of the time the guy will go mad, like a fukken mad dog. (Yes, they can be this unfair sometimes. Peanut brain.)

If you don’t bloody like the feeling, please don’t friggin do things like such to hurt the person who love you the most.
I’m actually getting more angry as I type, thinking bout guys like that!!

For guys who always think that your girlfriend is not hot enough, not pretty enough, not smart enough, and the list goes on…
Please take a look at yourself.
So you have a body like David Beckham? So you have a career like David Beckham? So you are as rich as David Beckham? So you are as handsome as David Beckham?

If the answer is no, then stop comparing your girlfriend with some other girls and constantly think that she’s not good enough for you!

Seriously! Guys like that don’t deserve having a girlfriend.
Just go and hug girls at dodgy bar everyday, that will do the trick.

I know not all guys act that way and if you’re one who doesn’t act that way, I like you!
Because guys like that are hard to come by these days.
Because you’re a good man for taking care of your girlfriend’s feelings.

I also know there are girls out there who act this way and turns the situation around.
So it’s not always the guys but in this case I’m talking bout guys so I don’t really care lah…

Also, I don’t only mean cheating and stuff.
Being in a relationship means that you have to consider the feelings of your another half.
Stop putting them into hell if you love them and if you don’t love them enough, call it quit and stop wasting each other’s time.

Youth is precious.

P/S: For people who like to assume, don’t assume. I’ve been wanting to let this out for the longest time because sometimes I feel like some of my girl friends has got the worst boyfriend and I feel angry, like now!

Back to Nature : Sekeping Serendah

It took me awhile to  get all these pictures sorted out which is why this post is about 20 days late.
As some may have already know, Fatty and I had a short getaway at Sekeping Serendah on our 14th months and also using Valentine’s Day as an excuse.

2 days before our short getaway, we went for grocery shopping because I want to/ have to/ need to bring our own food to this place called Sekeping Serendah which is located at Rawang.
Reason being is because Sekeping Serendah is not a resort and they do not provide meals.
It is a “Back into the woods” kind of thing so please don’t expect fancy restaurants all around.

As you can tell, I’m really fine with this fact for giving me a reason to get my hands dirty while preparing food.
I prepared two meals, cooked our lunch and marinated meat and seafood for dinner.

devein_prawn.jpg

Peeling and deveining prawn, as easy as ABC.
If you still don’t know about this, it’s okay because you’ll know 3 seconds later. Every prawn has this ‘black line’ at the back of the prawn and this ‘black line’ is actually called intestinal tract.
Most of the restaurants do not devein their prawns because it can be time consuming but if you intend to cook prawns at home, you should really devein it.
Not exactly harmful to eat but definitely better off without. Just use a sharp knife and cut along the “black line” (do not cut too deep) and you can easily extract it with the tip of your knife.
Tadaa! Learned this from my mom.

And as you can see from the picture above, the intestinal tract is full and disgusting!

kampung_fish.jpg

Hi Kampung fish.
Fatty hates dealing with chicken but I figured I hate dealing with seafood even more.
It just seems so ……. (not exactly disgusting)……..geli. Yes, geli!
What’s geli in English?

I asked my mom, what do I have to do with the fish.
And this is what you have to do.

fish_gill.jpg

Open up the gill cover and you’ll see red coloured gill waiting for you right there. Stuck in your finger and pull out the fish’s gill.
Once you pull it out, most of the unwanted intestine and what not will come out together because it is link together.
This part seriously scare the crap out of me. I stand by the sink, looking at the fish not sure how to do the first step.
Geli maximum!!

Almost on par with Mr. Squid damn it.
And here’s the bloody intestine, must share it with you guys!

Okay, enough for the food preparing session.

Back to Sekeping Serendah, the journey to that particular place is quite a pain in the ass when you have an impatient boyfriend (when it comes to driving) right beside you.

The traffic at Rawang is pretty bad and traffic lights everywhere did not help on the situation.
Fatty got more and more impatient because of this and keeps complaining.
He can be this annoying sometimes!

sekeping serendah entrance

The whole journey took us about one and a half hour and this is what greeted us once we arrived.
Sekeping Serendah’s entrance.

You’ll see this big black symbol thingy after you passed through the entrance, right in front where you’ll park your car.
And yes, it was raining the whole day. ):

There are 3 different sheds you can choose to stay in Sekeping Serendah.
Glass shed, mud shed, or timber shed.

I booked mud shed from Agoda and it costs us about Rm400+ including the tax.

Rm400 for a night and just for the two of us is actually really pricey but at that moment there was no better choice so we paid anyway.
Expensive because it’s a Saturday and just the two of us. If you go on weekdays and you have more friends, it’ll be much cheaper.

sekeping serendah mud shed

The first sight that greeted us at mud shed, the living area and kitchen.

sekeping serendah mud shed

This wire chair is one of the thing that attracted me to choose mud shed. :D

sekeping serendah mud shed kitchen

There’s everything you need in mud shed’s kitchen. From utensils to kettle to oven and there’s also Milo and Nescafe sachets waiting for you.

sekeping serendah mud shed

A tree trunk in the house!! I love love love having tree trunk inside a house, just like the picture shown.
It’ll be totally awesome if I can have a tree trunk in my future house! :D

sekeping serendah mud shed

Mud shed can fit in 4 person. There’re bunk beds at the side and a queen bed in the middle of the room.

sekeping serendah mud shed

And a mosquito net that didn’t quite work because it’s too small for the bed but we used it anyway.
There was quite a number of flying insects and they’ll just land wherever they want randomly, so mosquito net to the rescue.

This is where we showered. :)

sekeping serendah bunk bed.

This is not the ordinary bunk beds we see everywhere. It’s a built in bunk beds so it’s really high up if you compare.

sekeping serendah bunk bed.

Took me awhile to climb up.

sekeping_serendah_dog.jpg

Out of the blue I spotted this dog with puppy eyes laying right at the corner.
Not harmful at all, so don’t worry. The dog just need some companion. :)

sekeping_serendah_lunch.jpg

This is our lunch, which I cooked. I might just do a recipe post next.
Sauteed mushrooms, poached eggs in tomato sauce, and garlic chicken with white wine sauce.

sekeping serendah mud shed

Oh ya, you actually share the living area and the kitchen with somebody else because there’s 2 rooms. Unless you book 2 rooms together then you can have it all by yourself.

sekeping serendah mud shed

It was just the two of us during noon and we kind of messed up the place a little, haha.

sekeping serendah swimming pool

After we had our lunch, we decided to go check out their swimming pool  area.

sekeping_serendah_pool.jpg

Shorty!

sekeping_serendah_getaway.jpg

It was actually drizzling but we kind of fucked it and walked to the pool anyway. Thank God we did because it rained the whole friggin day!

♥ :)

Crazy couple is crazy.

We threw in our bottle of wine and that’s Fatty acting funny with the wine.
I did not really jump in and join, I just went halfway.
The water was too damn cold for me.

I don’t know how to swim but I’m actually not afraid to jump into the pool. What I’m afraid of is jumping into a friggin cold pool.  Which is why swimming always is a pain in the ass for me.
Plus my asthma always attacked me if I caught a cold while I swim. It is also a phobia thing. :(
Trust me, I’ll be the first to jump in if there’s a warm or hot swimming pool. Pfft!

We were both tired and ran out of activities to do (IT’S RAINING), so we took a nap.
Sleeping with trees in the woods really has a significant difference compared to sleeping in an air-conditioned room in the city.
That nap and that night’s sleep was one of the best sleep ever which we both agreed.

sekeping serendah barbecue

After our nap, it was dinner time and the guy who worked there prepared the barbeque pit for us.
It is really easy to barbecue at Sekeping Serendah because all you have to prepare is just the food alone.
They have everything else already.

Fatty doing his job, barbequeing chicken, marinated lamb from jusco, prawns, and the kampung fish.

Prawn and fish tasted the best and they’re super easy to prepare.
Almost hassle free, just marinate the prawns with salt, pepper, and black pepper 10 minutes before you barbecue.
As for the kampung fish, what I did was chopped some onions and some garlics and then combined it with asam sauce or curry sauce.
Then, marinate the kampung fish with the sauce and tadaa!
You can basically choose any sauce you wish from supermarket. Those small curry packets or belacan packets which are made easy for cooking, take those.

Even people who cant cook can do this I believe. :)

After our hearty meal we went back into our room and tried to enjoy the remaining hours.
We listened to love songs, then clubbing songs. We danced, we cuddled, we laughed, and we talked.

And I played sparkling fireworks or ‘dik dik gam’ as we called it in chinese.
The last time I had fun playing with these was on 2009′s Christmas, which was pretty long ago.

I told Fatty I wanted to play sparkling fireworks and I want a few packs but he bought the entire box with I don’t know how many packs in it!
How can I even finish that, I’m not sure.

Maybe I should plan on doing another light painting with my sparkling fireworks since there’s tons. :D
I miss playing light painting!

After all the mini activities in our room, we showered and get going to Poh Juan’s birthday at Phuture.
Sigh, bad timing. We have to drive all the way to KL to club and then all the way back to Sekeping Serendah at 3am.
It was tiring!

Woke up the next day wishing that we could sleep longer but we cant because we have to check out.

sekeping serendah waterfall.

It was still early so we drove to the infamous waterfall nearby and there were lots of people enjoying their Sunday that day. Adults and kids having fun all together.

We could have done so much more if it weren’t for the rain.
Maybe in the future if my friends are interested, I will go again for glass shed.

This short getaway was  weird, with the rain and clubbing half way but I still enjoyed it.
It definitely feels good to take a break from the city and embrace the nature with the one you love.

No air conditioner, no television, no computer, no internet, and no signal!

Getting There

From Kuala Lumpur, take the North-South Highway (NKVE) north and exit Rawang. After the Rawang toll gate, turn right and head north via old trunk road. Pass busy Rawang town and head toward Serendah (10km). Turn right at 1st set of traffic lights after Serendah Police station. Next, print out and view the local map (600KB pdf) to reach the retreat.
