Trust is not someone give but it's something when u and someone establish when u 2 together. He may betray ur trust, but have u think why he do tat? I agree that human are selfish but tat make us humans. It's our nature to be selfish, no matter hw generous a person is, he/she will have his/her selfish side. Live in a life where u don turst anybody is very suffering and lonely. U can learn from ur past experience and don repeat it again, being easily trusted someone might look bad in nowadays society, but it also mean that u really treat ur fren with true heart. No matter what, there will always be a solution to every problem, don be so pessimistic yet, jz be urself and everything will be fine. Have faith and be strong.
